| Renovation Update & Photos - September 13, 2003 |
| Here are some current pictures of the renovation at the Chapter House at 501 Russell
Blvd., Davis. As you can see we have made some great progress and our contractor,
Daniel Sedillo, believes the summer 2003 construction should be substantially completed by the start of school in about ten days. If you are near the Davis campus, I urge you to drop by and check out the status of our work project. You will be pleased that the chapter house is on the way to being the best looking on campus. |

| This is the "new kitchen" at 501 Russell Blvd. Brother Doug Drake is inspecting the newly installed window over where the sink will be. Note all the new sheetrock and all new electrical and plumbing connections that have been installed. |

| This is the view from the kitchen towards the dining room. Note the fireplace was neatly covered to allow for a clean working surface. |

| This is the view from the living room looking west into the newly cleared out library (formerly "bar") area. See how much additional room we gained by removing a false wall divider between the living room and the library. |

| Brothers Daniel Sedillo, Doug Drake and Bert Pierroz are in the living room of the
Blvd. chapter house at 501 Russell Blvd. discussing the status of the construction
repairs. Daniel is our contractor on this project. Doug and Bert both serve on the Alumni
Board of our Theta Chi Alumni Association, Zeta Xi Chapter. All of the front house interior will be painted this next week. All the wooden floors in the front house will be refinished professionally. High grade linoleum will be installed in the kitchen, front bathroom and the hallway to the back house. New carpet will be laid on the front house stairway and throughout the back house hallways. |

| Another view of the kitchen. The kitchen was the highest priority of the chapter house renovation project. The new kitchen has been completely torn apart and rebuilt with new electrical, new plumbing, subfloor replacement, new ventilation system, new kitchen cabinets and a complete cleaning of the hood, range and other fixtures. |
